About Toololis

Last updated:

Toololis is a free online toolkit with 25 browser-based tools. We built it because we were tired of the dominant pattern on the web: tool sites that are bloated, slow, demand signups, and upload your private files to unknown servers.

Our mission

Make the web's most-needed utilities instantly usable, privately, from any device, forever. No accounts. No uploads. No watermarks. No limits. No tracking of your content.

How we work

  • 100% client-side: Every tool runs in your browser using JavaScript, the Canvas API, and WebAssembly. Your files, text, and data stay on your device.
  • Open-source libraries: We use trusted, audited libraries — pdf-lib, pdfjs-dist, qrcode, diff, js-md5 — all under MIT or Apache licenses.
  • Zero API costs: Because tools run locally, we don't need expensive AI APIs or server infrastructure. That's why we can offer them free forever.
  • Privacy by design: No cookies for tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization — both privacy-preserving.

How we make money

Toololis is supported by non-intrusive display advertising. Ads appear in non-disruptive positions (never above the tool, never blocking functionality). We don't sell your data, we don't profile you, and we never compromise on user experience to squeeze more ad impressions.

What's coming next

  • More tools — we add 2–5 new tools every month
  • More languages — German, Spanish, French, and more
  • Tool APIs for developers who want to integrate our logic
  • Advanced versions of power-user tools (batch PDF operations, bulk image processing)

Who built this

Toololis is built and maintained by Atilla Kuruk, a full-stack developer focused on fast, accessible, privacy-respecting web tools. Based in Germany. Contact: /contact.

  • Tailwind CSS — utility-first styling
